Northwest Football Awards 2015

It was certainly a memorable and funfilled evening last night at the Northwest Football awards which were held at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

Amongst many, Sergio Aguero was awarded North West player of the Year, Manchester City’s Jill Scott was named Women’s Player of the Year and Phil Jagielka won goal of the season for that strike against Liverpool.

The Awards not only pay tribute to and recognise those who have achieved footballing excellence on the field but off the field also in the 2014/2015 season; the awards can range from Manager of the Year to the Fabrice Muamba award for Outstanding Contribution to Medicine and Science.
