The 2016 London Football Awards

The nominees for this year’s London Football Awards have been announced and Eni and Leah are up for the London Women’s player of the year award…go girls! Also nominated are Katie Chapman and Fran Kirby from Chelsea and Arsenal player Casey Stone.

The awards night will be raising funds for the national charity Willow.

Other awards include Premier League player of the Year, London manager of the Year, Football League player of the Year, London Young player of the Year, London goalkeeper of the Year and lastly London community project of the Year. Nominees and winners have been selected by an expert judging panel from the worlds of football and media; former players, major footballing bodies and sports media, including Sky Sports, The Times, Evening Standard and talkSPORT.

Lots of competition and a great amount of talent in one room – we’re looking forward to it!
