During the 2020 Euros, Kelly was the BBC Sport England reporter following the team for over a month. From sit-down chats with Jack Grealish and Jordan Pickford to pitchside post-match breakdowns with Gareth Southgate, she was described as a “breath of fresh” by the media. Her honest interview with Southgate after the Three Lions beat Germany 2-0 in the last-16 particularly hit home. Not only did he reveal to her that his Euro '96 penalty miss still hurts him, he also admitted he believed he was to blame for his teammates losing the semi-final.
Kelly continues to big a regular presenter & reporter throughout BBC’s TV and Radio platforms, as well as, frequently appearing on Amazon Prime for Premier League appearances and Channel 4 & Whisper TV for international fixtures.
In 2022, Channel 4 obtained the television rights to The UEFA Nations League England games and Kelly joined the team as match reporter. Later that year, she was announced as part of the BBC’s broadcasting team that travelled to Qatar where she took on the role as pitch side reporter, in addition to, interviewing the England players as a preview to the World Cup matches.
When she's not covering football, Kelly watches more football, plays netball and loves exploring the world when she has the opportunity!
“Tongue Tied are an agency that genuinely care. Jo has built a team that are not only some of the best in the industry, but also that care about their clients as people. Since signing with them, I've felt more supported both as a presenter and a person”
