Carly Telford

Carly Telford is a retired English goalkeeper who played for clubs including Sunderland, Leeds United, Chelsea, and Notts County. Born in County Durham, she began her career at Sunderland before moving on to Leeds Carnegie. Telford had three stints with Chelsea, where she played a key role in winning multiple domestic trophies, including three FA Women's Super League titles, two Women's FA Cups, and two FA Women's League Cups. She also spent time at Notts County and concluded her playing career with San Diego Wave in the NWSL.

On the international stage, Telford earned 27 caps for England and was part of the Lionesses squad that reached the semi-finals of the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup. She was also a member of the England team that secured third place in the 2015 World Cup and helped the Lionesses win the 2019 SheBelieves Cup. Additionally, she represented Team GB at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Since retiring from playing, Telford has transitioned into a key role off the pitch. She currently serves as the Commercial Manager for Chelsea FC Women, focusing on enhancing the club's commercial strategies and promoting the growth of women's football. Alongside her role at Chelsea, she continues to provide expert analysis on women's football as a media pundit.
