Jennie Gow to host new FE season on ITV

Live Formula E returns to ITV4 as presenter Jennie Gow is joined by studio guests Marc Priestley and Karun Chandhok for coverage of the opening round of the 2015/16 season in China.

The world’s first fully-electric racing series is back after a debut season that saw Nelson Piquet Junior crowned the first ever Formula E champion.

The season opener is again in Beijing and the track, which is set in the grounds of the iconic Bird’s Nest Olympic stadium, last year played host to an unforgettable race as Nick Heidfeld and Nicolas Prost both crashed out while contesting the lead at the final corner.

Among those competing with Piquet, Prost and Heidfeld for the title this year are former F1 champion Jacques Villeneuve, and former F1 drivers Bruno Senna, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Sebastian Buemi, Jean-Eric Vergne, and Lucas Di Grassi.

It is a busy weekend for Jennie who will be in Austin with BBC Radio 5live for the Grand Prix on Sunday as Lewis Hamilton hopes to take the Formula One title.
