Alex Bailess is a content creator and presenter, known for her work in women’s football media.

Alex’s football journey began at a young age, playing alongside boys before being scouted by Leyton Orient. She later captained AFC Basildon in the FA Women's National League South East Division One before the club merged with Hashtag United Women in 2020, where she was named club captain. However, just before the team’s inaugural season, Alex was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, a heart condition that forced her to retire from playing at just 26 years old.

Determined to stay involved in the game, Alex transitioned into sports media and content creation, building a strong presence in the industry. She is now part of Pixel FC with Google Pixel, a platform dedicated to championing the women’s game through innovative digital storytelling.

She has worked with DAZN Football, The FA, Indivisa, and Girlactico, using her skills in videography and presenting to help grow the visibility of women’s football. Her work has included covering the Women’s Champions League Final with DAZN and interviewing England manager Sarina Wiegman as part of Pixel FC, solidifying her role as a key voice in women’s football media.

In 2023, Alex won Silver for Best In Women’s Football at the Football Content Awards.
